Information about your personal data

What personal data we process

Depending on your contact with us, we process:

Identification and contact details: name, email, telephone number, address/location (for call-outs).
Contract and billing details: quotation/order information, payment details (through a payment provider).
Communication data: the content of your enquiry (telephone, email, form, chat).
Technical and usage data: IP address, browser/device information, cookie IDs, pages visited.
Security and log data: error and access logs (website/applications).

We do not process special categories of personal data, nor do we intentionally process data about children.

Purposes and legal bases

We process data solely for:

Quotations, planning, carrying out and invoicing work
(performance of a contract or steps prior to entering into a contract).
Customer service, aftercare, quality improvement and prevention of misuse
(legitimate interest).
Accounting and legal obligations
(legal obligation).
Newsletters/marketing, statistics/analytics using non-essential cookies
(consent, which may be withdrawn at any time).

Data is not further processed in a way that is incompatible with these purposes.

Sharing with third parties (recipients/processors)

We share data only where necessary, with:

Hosting and email providers,
Accounting software/payment providers,
Planning/ticketing/chat tools,
Analytics and cookie platforms (only after consent for non-essential cookies).

We enter into a data processing agreement with each processor to ensure security and confidentiality. We do not sell personal data.

Transfers outside the EEA

If a supplier processes data outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards (such as EU standard contractual clauses). Details are available on request via info@slotenmakerbelgie.be.

Retention periods

Quotation/contact enquiries: a maximum of 24 months after the last interaction.
Customer and billing records: at least 7 years (tax retention obligation).
Log/security data: up to 12 months, unless a longer period is required.

After these periods, we delete or anonymise the data.

Cookies and tracking

We use essential cookies for the basic operation of the website. For statistics/marketing cookies, we request prior consent through the cookie banner. You can change your preferences at any time in the cookie settings on our website.

Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data (including access management, need-to-know access, encryption where appropriate and logging). However, no system is completely secure.

withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing).
